Abstract submission
Information for abstract submission
You are kindly invited to submit abstracts of original contributions to the 25th International Symposium on Shiftwork and Working Time. Please, read carefully the instructions below before sending an abstract.
Submission general information:
Abstracts will be accepted for presentations as either an oral presentation format or poster presentation format. The Scientific Committee will review the abstracts and the corresponding author will be informed of acceptance as poster or oral presentation.
Accepted abstracts will be published in the Proceedings.
Important deadlines:
01/10/2024 - Submission of abstracts opens
01/03/2025 - Deadline for submission of abstracts
15/05/2025 - Notification of abstract acceptance
Guidelines for submission of abstracts:
1. Abstracts must be submitted in English.
2. The submission is exclusively via website. Submissions by email will not be accepted.
3. A person may be first author on a maximum of two abstracts.
4. Abstracts may not be longer than 450 words (excluding title, name of authors and institutions).
5. Figures and tables are not allowed.
6. Do not use abbreviations in the title.
7. List of authors and institutions must be included in the designed window.
8. Abstracts must be written as the following outline:
A. Introduction
B. Methods
C. Results
D. Conclusion
E. Support (if any)
9. Authors should indicate their presentation preference or the session where the paper will be presented:
- Poster presentation only
- Oral or poster presentation
The Scientific Committee and the Organizing Committee reserve the right to decide on final allocation and presentation format.
10. After having submitted your abstracts, you will receive a confirmation by e-mail.
11. If an abstract is accepted, at least one author must attend the symposium and present it in person.
